Les Sources de Caudalie is a unique concept that brings together the sophistication of the grape, the art of haute cuisine, the Grand Cru Château Smith-Haute-Lafitte and thermal springs. The rooms and suites are all different, and all have been individually and charmingly decorated. As would be expected Caudalie boasts a 15,000 bottle wine cellar and in the restaurants the sommelier works closely with the chef to identify the perfect wine for each dish.The deep leather armchairs of the Cigar room right at the top of the main building are perfect to sink into with a glass of Cognac after dinner.

The Spa offers an exclusive programme of treatments in a setting of unusual beauty. These treatments are unique combining the virtues of naturally warm spring water rich in iron and fluorine, taken from a depth of 540 metres, with vine and grape extracts.The latter have a high concentration of polyphenols, which help fight against free radicals - responsible for 80% of ageing.

The treatment programmes are an interesting variation on traditional French Thalassotherapy programmes and consist of 4 half hour treatments a day: including vinotherapy treatments such as wine baths, honey and wine wraps, and jet showers in combination with face and body treatments using the Caudalie products. From time to time the hotel also offers guests the chance to take a wine appreciation or French cooking class.

Spa, Zen Style hotel located on the French Riviera, Re-modelled from the 18th century 'Mas' building or farmhouse into a de-luxe 4 star hotel, and "one of the leading hotels and spas in the world. Set in 40,000 square metres of private ground, 25 minutes drive from Nice airport, 15 minutes from Cannes, and walking distance from the village of Mougins (Picasso's home for 15 years).

One suite and 39 bedrooms, divided between two provençal style buildings- the 'Mas' (20 bedrooms) dates back to the 18th century and the new 'Bastide' manor house (19 bedrooms). Most rooms have private balconies and terraces with views over the valley below, leading down to Cannes.
The rooms are spacious with en-suite marble bathrooms and contain high tech entertainment facilities.

Main features include the Shiseido Spa -the 'Zen' style spa is located in landscaped gardens a short walk away from the hotel's main reception.
Treatments include a selection of face and body treatments for men and women, using the unique Shiseido Qi method. The treatments use a combination of shiatsu pressure point work, oshiboris (Japanese hot towels) and aromachological fragrances to stimulate the tsubo points, situated on the path of the Qi flow. These either stimulate inactive parts of the body or calm overactive parts. The overall aim is to balance body and mind energy, leaving you feeling either relaxed or energised.

There are two outdoor pools; the larger one has a poolside bar, which serves lunch. The adjacent jaccuzi overlooks the valley of the Pre-Alps.

'Restaurant Candille' is under the direction of Serge Gouloumès (rated 16/20 in the prestigious guide Gault et Millau).
Specialities include Tatin de Foie Gras with Armagnac essence; Wild Sea Bass roasted in Vallauris Clay; Roast Wild Duck with tandoori spices; Swiss chard cake and caramelised mango; Crayfish carpaccio.
