A member of the ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’ chain, Hemingways Resort is a luxury property in Watamu Bay, an unrivalled Kenyan setting. The white sands of Watamu Bay and its crystal waters form Kenya's finest stretch of beach. In fact it was voted, by The Sunday Times, one of the top ten beaches in the world. It is an area of great beauty and interest; there are coral reefs to marvel at, the ruins of ancient Gede to be explored, marlin and sailfish to be fought and, of course, Hemingways Resort in which to be indulged. Hemingways has 68 stylish bedrooms and six private suites, all having views of the activities of Hemingways' deep-sea fishing fleet. One of the principal attractions is the food; as you might expect, fresh seafood is popular here!

Kulalu Camp
The Kulalu ranch is huge and has an unfenced border with the Tsavo East National Park. The cattle share their grazing with elephants, buffalo and various game. Where the herds go, the predators follow, lion and cheetah are frequently seen.
Kulalu Camp sits high on the banks of the Galana River, the sole permanent water source in this arid area. The four large, airy tents have stunning views out over the river towards the Lali Hills on the horizon. Each tent has full size twin beds, en suite toilet and showers

There is a spacious central dining room that also looks out over the river and the food is simply delicious. Full cooked breakfasts and three course dinners are served impeccably by the friendly, helpful staff. Lunches tend to be lighter during the heat of the day.
There is a comfortable bar with icy cold drinks for those all important sundowners and a camp fire is lit each night as the sun goes down.
Small and very private, Kulalu offers an exciting glimpse into the old style traditional safari adventure while providing all the comforts of modern living.

Satao Camp
Set in the vast shrubland of Tsavo East National Park, Satao Camp is home to wide variety of animals and birdlife. Here you can watch the many different species that frequent the watering hole from the comfort of your own verandah, or join an exciting game drive to follow in the tracks of herds of elephants and zebra roaming the wide expanses of the reserve.
Satao Camp nestles among Tamarind trees overlooking the busy watering hole. Built 8 years ago it has 20 tents, all en suite, the tents are built in a semi-circle ensuring all get a front row view of the watering hole
Each tent has been constructed out of eco friendly materials. They are attractively furnished with proper beds and unique masai decorative covers. The front of the tents have their own patio with table and chairs.
