Perched on the Eburu escarpment, overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha and the sweeping floor of the world's largest valley, the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort enjoys incredible views and also offers an Adventurers' Club for children.

The Mara camp enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the Mara and also has an Adventurers' Club for children.

DAY 1 DAILY HEATHROW-NAIROBI
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.

DAY 2 NAIROBI
On arrival transfer to your hotel for a day at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions (book and pay locally).

DAY 3 SAMBURU
Fly to the Samburu National Reserve (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes) and transfer to your lodge for lunch. Samburu Intrepids looks out over riverbanks where herds of elephants, buffaloes and zebras come daily to drink, together with the rarer species of reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx and long-necked gerenuk antelope. A late afternoon game drive. (b,l,d)

DAY 4 SAMBURU
Early morning and late afternoon game drives. Camel and walking safaris can be arranged (book and pay locally). (b,l,d)

DAY 5 LAKE NAIVASHA
Light aircraft flight to Wilson airport (approximately 1 hour) to connect with the flight to Loldia airstrip (approximately 20 minutes). Transfer to the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort at Lake Naivasha. (b,l,d)

DAY 6 LAKE NAIVASHA
Half day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park. Leisure activities at the lodge include boating and fishing on Lake Naivasha, tennis, a driving range and an 18-hole golf course (book and pay locally). (b,l,d)

DAY 7 MASAI MARA
Boat trip on Lake Naivasha. After lunch transfer to the airstrip for a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara (approximately 45 minutes). An afternoon game drive. Mara Intrepids camp sits above a sweeping bend in the Talek River. (b,l,d)

DAY 8 MASAI MARA
An early morning balloon flight, followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Late afternoon game drive. (b,l,d)

DAY 9 EXTENSION OR NAIROBI
Light aircraft flight to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour), then proceed with your chosen extension or return to Heathrow. (b)

Option to fly from the Mara to Mombasa on day 9 (includes lunch in the Mara) - price on request.

Light aircraft baggage allowance - 15 kg.
