Huvafen Fushi
Every now and then, there comes a hotel that sets its sights on pushing back the boundaries of luxury.
Positioned on the edge of its own lagoon on the North Malé Atoll, the newly opened Huvafen Fushi resort does exactly that.
It defies the standard.
You arrive either by speed boat or seaplane, and must then choose one of 43 land based or over-water bungalows.
Each one is decorated combining a minimalist contemporary design with Maldivian style; and each comes with its own pool or fresh water plunge pool, plasma screen TV and Bose Surround Sound system.

Taking in views of the dazzling Indian Ocean, both above and below the waterline,
it is the first hotel in the world to boast an underwater spa.

There is also a Yoga pavilion, a butler service, three restaurants and just about any water sport imaginable. Huvafen Fushi means Dream Island - that says it all.

Celsius – Open and easy, outdoor or indoor, Celsius, brings a luxe-but-laid-back attitude to dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Branching out over the lagoon with a white sand floored deck, delivering the finest taste sensations of international cuisine. Opening hours: Breakfast 07:30 - 11:00 / Lunch 12:00 - 17:00 / Dinner 19:30 - 23:00.

UMbar – On the water's edge, looking over the breathtaking infinity pool, indulgence is waiting in a UMbar designer cocktail. Opening hours: 09:00 till the last guest leaves.

Raw – Minimalist décor for minimalist food – offering innovative 'Spa' and 'Raw' cuisine and juice bar at its finest. Dream-fabulous fare for those who care about their bodies, yet eschew the bland and boning.
Opening hours: 12:00 - 17:00.

Salt – An ultimate dining experience over water. In the open kitchen, the menus, inspired by the array of sea-life that swim beneath you, fuse lish Mediterranean fare with the vibrant cuisine of the Southeast Asia. Savour the finest seafood under the skies in your private dining cove.
Opening hours: 19:30 - 23:00 (except on Sundays).

Vinum - An unsurpassed selection of wines from the Old and the New Worlds. Private dining options at the 'Round Table' will awaken your senses as our Island Sommelier takes you on a journey of all things vinum.
